Genesis 2:18-25

God said, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion.” So God formed from the dirt of the ground all the animals of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the Man to see what he would name them. Whatever the Man called each living creature, that was its name. The Man named the cattle, named the birds of the air, named the wild animals; but he didn’t find a suitable companion. God put the Man into a deep sleep. As he slept he removed one of his ribs and replaced it with flesh. God then used the rib that he had taken from the Man to make Woman and presented her to the Man.The Man said,“Finally! Bone of my bone,flesh of my flesh!Name her Woman for she was made from Man.” Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and embraces his wife. They become one flesh. The two of them, the Man and his Wife, were naked, but they felt no shame.

Psalms 139:13-16

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! At the appointed time set from Creation, Jesus introduced Kevin to Niru at the Yulbang Church Chennai India Conference in August 2010. There in the pool, the Holy Spirit whispered to her his plans from before Creation, and Niru proposed to Kevin, half serious, half joking. Thus began the 13-year courtship mediated by the Holy Spirit.

Each kept in touch with the other through the years, meeting up in Dubai in 2016, returning occasionally to the prospect of marriage, even engaging for 1.5 years back in 2017. However, neither of them was yet fully equiped to commit their lives totally to each other in Christ; and still, faithful Jesus kept his loving hand on them through the intervening years.

Father God opened Niru's eyes to the blessing of Kevin as her husband after her father died in March, 2021, and in winter 2023, orchestrated a fuller repentance for Kevin, revealing to him the true blessing of Niru as his wife. They united for the 3rd time in Chennai, India, marrying on September 29, 2023 with Hepzibha and good friends Theresa and Renu, and a bevy of others on-line in attendance.

Matthew 19:6

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Kevin and Niru with a growing faith in Christ submit to his planned will from before Creation, and trust that obedience to Father God's will is best, their new family being his to lead, grow and prosper through kingdom values, service, and faith.
